Ok then…

It took a few days for the last hearing to sink in. We are now in what they call “TPR posture”. TPR is short for Termination of Parental Rights. This is where the state has the burden of proof to have the parents’ rights terminated, which means in the legal world they are no longer the mother or father of that particular child… pretty intense.

I started to look at the girls differently and weigh all options of adoption. Is this for me? I had no intensions of adopting so early in my fostering career. If I adopt, I can’t give them back! Do I want this life forever? Can I really give these girls a good life?

So many questions running through my head… this is not to be an impulsive decision!
