The day of driving!

We were packed up and headed on our way to TN by 10am! I was impressed. As we programmed the next destination into our GPS, whoops it’s 6hrs away… not 5. No biggy, it’s a travel day so we won’t miss on anything.

As we entered TN, the highway was closed to one lane, so we inched towards the next exit for what seemed like hours! Couple that with the tiny bladders and a gas fill up, the drive took almost 8hrs!

But we made it!

We arrived to our site and set up the RV in no time…we’re getting good at this! Since we were pooped, we thought we’d go out to dinner instead of cooking. Joke’s on us! Everything closes at 9pm or has an hour wait. We ended up coming back and making turkey sandwiches/leftovers for dinner. We made a fire, chatted, and ate s’mores.

Tomorrow we have some scheduled activities planned and we’re hoping to make it to the pool-Chloe is begging! Lol
