Sorry for the silence, but just like the rest of the world we’ve been trying to deal with the “new normal” as the media keeps saying. It hit us like a ton a bricks that we were quarantined to the house, or grounded as I like to refer to it. Our family is used to exploring and experiencing, not sitting and relaxing. This has really taught us to enjoy moments and make the best of any situation!
Just like anything else, I try to see the positive in things. What positives have you found during the pandemic? Have you discovered anything; had any A-ha moments? I can tell you that I’ve found peace in working from home, when usually I dread it, I discovered my ability to bake (or maybe my oven just keeps accidentally making yummy treats), and cherish family time more than ever before! We actually bought an RV, we’ve already had so many adventures… Stay tuned for future posts!
The kids have been troopers. It has become awkward in public because you don’t know how other parents feel about your kids playing with theirs. I find myself telling the girls to stay to themselves… it’s so sad. We are social people!
Just wanted to check in on you folks… hope all is well!
