I was called by the adoption specialist around Thanksgiving. She asked if I would be willing to be a part of what they call: “Home for the Holidays”. This is where they have a mass adoption day, media is present and the courthouse really makes it a wonderful experience. I politely declined. Working for who I do, I don’t want to create more attention towards our case and the girls deserve their own special day.

So we waited… we waited a few months actually.

I received a call early February. I was told I could pick two dates. Feb 7th or the following Tuesday.

Feb 7th will be our “Gotcha Day”!
